For use with (Schlag) metal leaf, gold leaf and bronze powders. Use over any non-absorbent painted surface, canvas, panel, wall, glass or metal. If the surface is absorbent as with gesso, seal using Roberson shellac varnish. Size is ready when Sellotape tackiness is reached. Apply the leaf using absorbent cotton. Unlike Bronze Powders, which are made from metal powder, they can be mixed with any medium, including water-based, are non toxic and totally lightfast. They are impervious to acids, alkalis, water and temperatures up to 800°. No top-coat is need, as they do not tarnish.
