Watercolour Ground Buff Titanium 4oz
£11.00Daniel Smith Watercolour Ground creates a soft, absorbent watercolour surface with a slightly cottony texture that's similar to cold pressed paper. With this breakthrough archival quality ground, you can rescue flawed paintings, create new work on any surface, lift and scrub without damaging the painting surface.
For too long, the beautiful medium of watercolour has been confined to a paper-behind-glass niche. Now, with this exciting new ground, anything you’ve dreamed of painting with watercolour can become a reality. It’s easy to use—just brush it on—and incredibly versatile.
Buff Titanium is great for value studies and provides a gorgeous, classic-looking surface for work in neutral grays, earthy reds, black and white. Learn More -
Schmincke PRIMAcryl Artists' Quality 60ml
Starting at: £8.70
Schmincke PRIMAcryl® PROFESSIONAL Heavy Body acrylic has been completely revamped. Sustainability, reducing the CO2 footprint and further improving and expanding the colour range were the main drivers. A new, innovative binder was chosen - largely made from recycled raw materials - that is free of microplastics. The pigmentation of the existing colours has been optimised and new colours have been added to the range. Thus, in addition to the existing cadmium colours, you can now choose cadmium-free alternatives that are almost identical in colour. And with the exception of 792 Ivory black, no animal ingredients are used. The consistency of the paint is still buttery - heavy body. And there is almost no colour-shift - all colours dry as they come out of the tube or pot. Learn More -
Old Holland Oil 40ml
Starting at: £10.50
Old Holland range of 168 oil paints, each with the highest degree of lightfastness. Traditional, non-lightfast pigments were replaced with modern lightfast pigments with the same colour characteristics as the traditional ones. Thanks to the highest possible concentration of pigment in each colour, the paint has an unprecedented colour strength. Within the unique range of 168 colours, there is a wide range of opaque and transparent colours, each with the highest possible brilliance (intense) and clarity (clean) characteristics. The only medium we use for our oil paints is cold-pressed extra virgin linseed oil, to obtain an optimum oxidisation (drying) of the paint. This increases durability and brushstroke spread. Together, these characteristics result in an oil paint of unequalled quality.
