Branded Stretcher Bars
Branded Stretcher Bars are a medium duty bar, ideal for works up to around 48 inches square. Because the bars are 3/4in deep they are ideal for framed work too.
The wood is high quality Baltic laminated pine, so highly resistant to warping.
These bars are sized in Imperial measurements but include the metric 'A' paper sizes as well.

They are made of laminated pine to minimise warping, and have a 1/4 in lip to raise the canvas away from the bars. All bars are mortised to take cross-bars from 36 inches. Branded Cross Bars
Starting at: £1.80
Branded Cross-bar are available for all sizes. These are useful for bracing a larger frame, and are necessary when one of the dimensions is 36 inches or over. Crossbars are notched to overlap from 36 inches, either at the Front or Back. To make a cross you will need one Front and one Back cross-bar. Sold per single piece. Supplied with wedges. Learn More -
